The steel-shifting machine is an elevated horizontal-travel trolley structure. The horizontal-travel trolley is driven by a motor provided on it, a cylindrical gear reduction box, an intermediate transmission shaft, and gears. There is also a claw device under the traverse trolley. The claw device is synchronously driven by two cylinders, and the claw is moved up and down, so that the cast billet is traversed to the equipment track of the next process through the movement of the trolley.

According to different blanking requirements, the steel moving machine can be designed as a fishing steel machine.
